Western Beskids
The Western Beskids (in the Czech, Západní Beskydy; in Slovak, Západné Beskydy; in Polish, Beskidy Zachodnie) are a set of mountain ranges spanning the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Poland.
Traditionally the Western Beskids are part of the Beskids, a term that differs according to historical and linguistic heritage. Geologically the Western Beskids are part of the Outer Western Carpathians.
The Western Beskids consist of the following sets of mountain ranges:

- Turzovka Highlands (SK: Turzovská vrchovina)

- Rožnov Furrow (CZ: Rožnovská brázda)
- Jablunkov Intermontane (SK: Jablunkovské medzihorie, CZ: Jablunkovské mezihoří)
- Silesian Beskids (PL: Beskid Śląski, CZ: Slezské Beskydy)
- Żywiec Basin (PL: Kotlina Żywiecka)
- Little Beskids (Beskid Mały)
- Maków Beskids (Beskid Makowski)
- Island Beskids (Beskid Wyspowy)
